These floorboards are made from Yakusugi burl, the rarest type of burl found in Yakusugi. The cracks and peeling marks are used as they are in the design, and the entire piece is finished. Finishing with oil gives it an antique-like texture.

Handling Instructions

These floorboards are made by shaping cracks and chips in the burl wood. As a result, they contain delicate parts. Please avoid using them in wet conditions. For maintenance, wipe them with a cloth soaked in drying oil (linseed oil, perilla oil, etc.) whenever you notice any issues.
