This is a round Hotei carved from boxwood.
 It has a smiling expression that is typical of the god of fortune.
He holds a wish-granting rosary in his right hand and a prayer bead in his left.
*This item is being sold at a special price because there are discolored stains on the top due to differences in paint absorption due to the tsuge wood.
There is no difference between the regular statue and the god of fortune/idol.
